About Dr. Carolyn Mills

Carolyn took her 40 foot sloop Tioga III on a solo trip around the world. In the fourth year her journey ended in an explosion at sea in the mid-Atlantic. Badly injured, she worked her way to land and spent the next several years recovering from the accident. Now settled in New Zealand, Dr. Mills runs Titore Lodge.
